Year 9 Camp 2020 was held at Kopua Holiday Park in Raglan shortly before the end of Term 1. Here are a few pictures of this awesome camp and some photos.
Year 9 camp 2020
10th to 13th March
Students arrived ready and excited to go on Tuesday morning to our Year 9 camp at Raglan's Kopua Holiday Park.
Once we arrived at Raglan it was a quick break for morning tea, followed by Co-operative games run by our senior mentors. Students then learn't how to set up tents, which they stayed in for the duration of camp.
On Wednesday and Thursday all students participated in a range of activities from learning water safety skills in Surfing and Raft building to learning about the local ecology in the coastal walk and bike trail. Students and staff came together to produce and take part in an awesome sand art challenge, amazing race and concert night. It was a great experience had by all, which couldn't have been made possible without the help and support from an awesome senior mentor and staff team.
We are thankful for the support from Perry Outdoor Education Trust (POET) and our POET co-ordinator Naomi Joyce.
